ResolvedUnable to dismiss Shop Notice if Pre Header Widget is enabled

    Hi,

    I had asked this question in a previous topic (Truncated Product Description) but it got lost with the extra questions I asked…

    When you have the Pre Header Widget active and the Shop Notice, you cannot close the Shop Notice bar in desktop mode because the Pre Header Widget expansion icon covers the close icon of the shop notice bar. You can just about close it from a mobile phone, enough of the notice bar is shown. Is there any workaround for this?

    Hi,

    I have changed the shop notice background to be red (with custom CSS) to highlight it because it was black and blended in with the shop picture and the pre header toggle.

    By changing the padding to 45px on

    <p class=”woocommerce-store-notice demo_store” data-notice-id=”fe68900dee1653cf2d0662bb68d31594″ style=””>This is a demo store for testing purposes — no orders shall be fulfilled. Dismiss</p>

    You will then see the “X” to dismiss the store notice which is currently hidden behind the Pre Header toggle.

    I have just checked your site again and there is simply no demo store notice there, so I can’t really see the problem. We can’t tell what’s wrong by looking at a screenshot. Checking it on this URL: https://test.zuyo.eu/shop/

    How strange. It is there for me looking with different browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Edge) and with different mobile phones.

    Can you check on https://rigid.zuyo.eu/ this is an installation of the demo (nothing else) with the store notice in black. Or, maybe you could enable the store notice on your own demo site https://rigid.althemist.com because it is nothing that I have customised, just Enabled Store notice with the default text.

    And now 20 days since the last update I made.

    The Theme update that was promised on 4th June, then again on 17th June has not materialised…. Is this now an unsupported Theme?

    I paid for an additional 6 months of support and have not had a response in 3 weeks.

    Really very annoyed.

    Hello zuyo,

    Please, accept our sincere apologies for the delayed support last 2 weeks. One of our team members was diagnosed with Covid-19 and we were isolated without the chance to leave home or access our office. We are now back to work and slowly catching up with delayed support tickets.

    The update was finally released yesterday.
