ParticipantHi,
I need to use composite products plugin but Lafka theme only supports it to some extent.
It will display the categories and allow user to select a product but will not allow selection of size or any other extra addons for that product.

KeymasterHi cenker,
Could you, please give us a link to a composite product on your site and temporary admin access, so we can check what could be wrong?
(don’t forget to mark the “Set as private reply” checkbox when sending admin credentials)

KeymasterHi cenker,,
Checking this now. Please, allow a bit more time (few hours) to investigate the issue.

KeymasterHi cenker,
Sorry for the late reply. We were busy investigating the problem.
Unfortunately, it looks like there are some groundbreaking changes in the latest versions of Composite Products.
We have fixed the problem where the product variation can’t be selected if using our custom attribute types (e.g. label, color etc.) instead of the default select/drop down type.
Unfortunately, with the latest changes in the Composite plugin it’s no more possible to use the addons. They are now only supporting the official WooCommerce Product addons plugin, but not third-party plugins with similar functionality.
We tried, but it can’t be adapted, because of the way they changed the plugin.
You can either use the official addons plugin or use the composite products without addons.
Alternatively, as this is not your fault and you asked before the purchase, we can fully refund your purchase.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it’s beyond our control with the latest versions. It worked perfectly fine and we have a lot of customers using the theme with Composite products, but it’s not possible to maintain compatibility with the latest versions of Composite products.
As the plugin developer is closely related to the WooCommerce team and the official extensions store, I guess this was made on purpose, but there is really nothing to do on our end.
Best regards,

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
That is a shame because I really like the Lafka theme. We need composite
products becasue of the flexibility of creating meal deals with certain
categories or products. The other plugins don’t give these options.Unfortunately, I will need to ask for a refund and look for another
alternative that supports composite products.Kind Regards,

KeymasterSure. Just file a refund request on Envato and I’ll approve it personally.
However, as I already explained, the only way to have both composite products and the addons would be with the official addons plugin from WooCommerce team and even with it, there will be some serious limitations.
IMHO, the better option would be combination of Lafka and Bundled Products plugin, but that’s of course up to you to decide based on specific your project requirements.
Best regards,
