    Hello,

I need some help with various issues I have in order to complete the project.

#1. The price range filter and the sort by price filter are not working properly, how can I resolve this?

#2. How can I replace the default social share buttons with Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber?

#3. How can the related products in a product be of the same category as the one the user is viewing?

#4. Even though the website language is not in English, there are elements that have not been translated (i.e. previous / next product, wishlist etc)

#5. As I was informed in a pre-purchase question, I can add a size guide inside the products. How can I achieve this?

#6. In the checkout page, when there are multiple shipping options they do not appear, thus the user cannot choose the preferred one.

#7. In the checkout page, how is it possible to add a gift wrapping option with a checkbox?

#8. On mobile, can the wishlist and my account icons be with the cart and search (as on desktop), instead of inside the menu tab?

#9. On mobile, how can the custom menu label of an item be visible?

#10. On mobile, the shop sidebar which includes the filters should appear before the products. As the infinity scroll option is selected in the theme options, the user has to be able to choose the filters before viewing the products. How can it be fixed?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello DigiDome,

    1. I am afraid we can’t just guess what do you mean and what’s wrong. Please, provide more details on what’s not working properly and a working link were we can see the problems “live”.

    2. You can’t change the social share buttons. If you need a custom set, you can disable the theme social share buttons and install a third-party social share plugin.

    3. The related products are of the same category. This is not even theme related. It’s how WooCommerce work. Related products block would always show a random list of products from the same category. If that’s not the case on your site, you may need to run the “Recount Terms” and “Regenerate Product Lookup Tables” under WooCommerce > Status > Tools. It’s also good to clear the WooCommerce and WordPress transients on the same page. If this is the problem it may also fix the price range problems from question #1. These types of problems can usually happen if you didn’t update the database after WooCommerce update.

    4. The theme and it’s plugin have their own custom text strings. You’d need to translate them with a plugin like Loco Translate. The language set in the WP settings would only affect the default WordPress text strings. It’s the same with any theme.

    Loco Translate

    5. You can set the size-guide information under Theme Options > Shop > Single Product Page Custom Popup

    6. Most probably the shipping options and shipping zones are not set properly. This is not theme related.

    7. WooCommerce doesn’t have such option. You’d need to look for a third-party plugin.

    8. I am afraid no. The are always displayed in the mobile menu.

    9. That would not be possible, as the mobile menu is using a simpler html structure

    10. In this case it’s be better to use the custom product filters sidebar area. If your filters are placed in a standard sidebar, they’d be always displayed after the content.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    4. Keep in mind there are strings not only in the theme, but also in the theme’s plugin (BabyStreet plugin). Also, don’t forget to clear your browser and site cache when you translate the strings.

    6. Now I understand. There is a special custom option we have and it’s disabled by default, but if you imported the demo data it will be enabled. It’s called “Use Custom Free Delivery Option” and located under Theme Options > Shop

    10. No, I am afraid they can’t be just switched and also you can’t move the special filters widget area to the left. You’d need to chose which one suits you better, but this is how it works on 99% of the WordPress themes. The standard sidebars are ALWAYS displayed after the content and the custom filters are can’t be moved on the left as it’s located in a different container.

In two words, what you need just can’t be done with a standard WordPress/WooCommerce theme.

    Regards,
    Dimitar

    Hello DigiDome,

I am afraid WooCommerce doesn’t have such feature. You should probably search for a plugin for this.
