Hi Dimitar,

Please note I am using the fashion demo import and not the market place demo import for my website – How ever, I am unable to integrate the vendor shop page and the vendor list page.

The vendor list page when i setup though the menu builder – i get a sort of an error page. Below is the link. I am using WCFM, but i am not having any problems with the vendor registration etc.

FOr the shop page, there is no option at all which you have in your Marketplace demo.

How could i set this right?

Have tried changing my Marketplace to WC Vendors Marketplace to try to check if there were compatibility issues with WCFM, but still no respite. Please help

Hello laagom,

1. The vendors list doesn’t work, because you use another plugin. The one on the demo is running on WCMp and tyou’re using WCFM. Our shortcode works with WCMp and WC Vendors. For WCFM you’d need to use their own shortcode and insert it manually.

Not really sure what do you mean by “FOr the shop page, there is no option at all which you have in your Marketplace demo.”. Please, explain more.

2. Again, that’s because you’re using a different multi-vendor plugin. We are using WC Marketplace (WCMp) and you are using WCFM. Each plugin have it’s own vendor shop design. Also, it looks like you’re using more that one multi-vendor plugin. The link https://ecular.in/store/ leads to a page with Dokan shortcode. It’s absolutely impossible to have more than one vendors plugin installed.

If using WC Marketplace and configure it properly, everything will be OK.

Hi Dimitar,

I had deactivated WCFM and Dookan for the same reason. And Installed WC Vendors. But no respite on the shop page theme format.

Do i need to remove and re install the theme again? And re install the demo?

Also, wanted to check is there a competitively priced freelancer/developer you could recommend, who could help me customise rigid. (I may try asking him to fix the manual formatting of the shop page, in WCFM itself, because that is my preferred plug in)

Hello laagom,

Yes, it looks like starting over on clean installation would be the best to do in this case, as your entire database is already messed with the different plugins you tried.

I’d suggest resetting the installation with a plugin like WordPress reset and installing everything over:

Also, do not import the marketplace demo if you plan to use the WCFM as it’d only work with WCMp and nothing else. Otherwise, you’d need to manually clean all pages from WCMp related content and shortcodes.

As for the freelancer – I am afraid we can’t recommend anyone. May be you should check Envato Studio.

Have done as you suggested. Re set everything and started with a clean slate.

Imported only the main demo.

How ever, for market place functionality, I am not getting the vendor registration and log in page, or the vendor shop page or the vendor list page. They were available when i had installed the marketplace demo. Is there a way you could send me the pages or just add those pages into my site. I am using WC Vendors now as you suggested there would be no theme problems in the shop page.

Hello Vaibhav,

I am afraid there is no pages to be sent, as we are using WC Marketplace on our demo and not WC Vendors. These are two different plugins and you can’t use pages from the one plugin to a site built with the other plugin.

You’d need to manually create those pages following the instructions from the plugin install wizard. This is not even theme related. The only way to get the pages automatically would be if you install WC Marketplace first and than import the marketplace demo. Otherwise, you’d need to create them manually.

Also, please note that there will be differences in the design when using WC Vendors. The Vendors shop apge would be different, the vendor dashboard and the vendors list too.

Basically you may use the main demo instead of the marketplace demo and you can also use the WC Vendors instead of WC Marketplace but everything would look slightly different and you’d need to set it manually.
