Morning, I am currently using the version of this theme from October 2020. I am thinking about updating to the latest version of this theme.

However, I am worried about website speed in case the new version has a lot more features which causes my site to be slower. My website speed is currently quite slow, particularly for mobile. Will upgrading to the latest version of the rigid theme increase my website speed or will it make it slower?

There is nothing in the theme updates which can slow down your website. In every update there are some performance improvements. The reason for your site being slow is most probably your hosting quality OR your site is overloaded with plugins.

It is ALWAYS recommended to update the theme and it’s plugins as soon as possible.
