I would like to change the alert “Please select some product options before adding this product to your cart” from the product page into a custom text like “Please select size”.

Hi Intersmart,

I am afraid this is not theme related. It’s a core WooCommerce feature.

You can change the message by using a plugin like Loco Translate and change the text string, but keep in mind that could create even more problems – e.g. what if you have a product with sizes AND colors? The message will always alert for SIZE even if the user needs to select color.
