ParticipantReposting here as requested, rather than the ThemeForest Site:
I bought this theme because it’s compatible for translation – but since trying to translate my WooCommerce store with WPLM, all translated items just appear with a ‘invalid value posted for size/color etc’ whenever I try to add them to my basket.
Theme is already using WooCommerce Multilingual Plugin and is multilingual.
WPLM and WooCommerce have said it’s due to my theme and incompatibility – but the shop was meant to launch a campaign in a few hours and this has been a bit of a disastrous discovery.
The items in question are
The Chunky Hat
comes up with ‘invalid value posted for color’ when on Japanese siteThe Chunky Sweater
comes up with ‘invalid value posted for size’ when on Japanese siteSo, are there any options for me to resolve this without uninstalling the theme and loosing a lot of work? Any other multi language users manage to resolve this problem?
Any help greatly appreciated – especially if it could be in time for our launch tonight.

KeymasterHello Peta,
Please, provide temporary admin access to your site, so we can check what could be wrong there. The fact that it works fine with some attributes and it doesn’t work with others means that most probably it’s a configuration issue.

ParticipantHi Dimitar,
Thanks for the quick reply. Can you talk me through how to provide you with temporary admin access and how to post this info privately?
Appreciate your quick response – been a long day going round in circles with a few different help forums.
Thanks
Peta

KeymasterJust post the username and password here and make sure you select the “set as private reply” checkbox before submiting the post.

ParticipantJust an update – I finally found the fix through a friend on another message board.
When using this theme and WPML, you need to make sure ‘Language filtering for AJAX operations’ is checked in the Language section. I hope this helps someone else.

KeymasterThat’s great. As we suspected it’s not theme related, as the same applies for any theme, but I am glad you managed to find the problem and posted the solution here, so other users can also benefit from your personal experience.
BTW, if you’re happy with the theme and support, we’d really appreciate it if you take the time to rate it on ThemeForest. It only takes few seconds, but it helps us a lot to keep improving the theme and adding new features.
