ParticipantYesterday the front editor of WP bakery was not working. I did the usual-disabled gutenberg editor, saved in back end. I then purged the cache on pages, swept all revisions of pages and still nothing. The menu at the top of my page was displaying fine and then it totally disappeared again. I ran a humming bird test and it said that there was a fault with the code. It said something about @frontend preloaded text needed to be changed. My site it totally unusable and now I cannot even redesign it. May I please have some help?

ParticipantPS. I spoke to a happiness engineer at WP They ran checks to see if any errors cropped up and there was none. However, the WP Bakery builder still does not load in FE.

KeymasterHello caz,
This usually happens with old versions of the WP Bakery when there are carousels on the page. However, this was fixed in the latest versions. Are you using the latest theme version and latest WP Bakery Page Builder?
If you give us temporary admin access to your site, we can check what could be wrong with the menu.

ParticipantHi, I only bought the wordpress e-commerce plan a December 4th 2020 so yes it is new. Your theme along with WP Bakery was causing lots of issues. I totally removed your theme from my site. Even then it had made fundamental changes to layout of the original storefront theme. The WP happiness engineer suggested that I totally start again from scratch due to the issues that your theme gave me.
I achieved more with the free storefront theme and builder in 6 hours than I did with the whole time I spent using your product. I have not had the suppprt that I needed. I think perhaps you should have stopped selling your product if you could not offer support to brand new buyers. I have been trying to start an income revenue through business but your theme has delayed it massively. I have already emailed you (via the online form on the front page of this forum) to ask for a refund due to ‘lack of support’ you have not replied. You have taken my money and given nothing in return (apart from delays and a delay in income because of the bugs and issues that your theme causes on the newest versions of wordpress). So again, may I have a refund please?December 15, 2020 at 4:02 pm #27801Althemist
KeymasterHello caz,
Sorry for the extreme delays. You have probably noticed the message that our entire team was under quarantine as we were all positive with Covid-19.
We don’t know who do you call a “WordPress happiness engineer”. However, the theme works absolutely fine. It’s used on over 1500 live websites around the world and no one ever reported such problems.
We asked for temporary admin access, so we can check what could be wrong there and you never sent credentials.
Unfortunately, this is not a valid reason for refund as the theme works absolutely fine if installed and configured properly and there are no conflicts with third-party plugins.
