ParticipantI purchased your theme last week. The documentation states that it comes with visual composer built in. It did not. I used the import demo, and under theme options uploaded my logo and background images at the appropriate sizing.
The entire top white block on the front page has now disappeared. My logo is giant spread across the home page. The original image from the theme is not changeable. Nothing is editable except under theme options. I Then installed visual composer on my own, and the template is still not editable.
Everything is updated to current versions.June 4, 2020 at 4:10 pm #23374Althemist
KeymasterHello loooooool14ac,
The WP Bakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) is bundled with the theme. There is a notification to install and activate the theme plugins when you activate the theme. If you closed that notification, you can access the plugins from Appearance > Install Plugins page in your admin.
Could you, please give us a link to your site to check the “giant logo” problem live?

Participantyes, WP Bakery is installed in the theme. (I highly suggest you modify the wording in your documentation at this point because there is also a separate plug in now called visual composer.) I have both installed.
My website is not live under these conditions, and I will not put it live until I get the editing fixed. I can send you a screen shot.
Where is the area to change the background image that is the brown paper with roses on the home page?June 5, 2020 at 12:21 pm #23447Althemist
KeymasterHi loooooool14ac,
Yes, you are right. The name of the original Visual Composer was changed to WP Bakery Page Builder when the author released the site builder plugin. It was not changed in the theme description, as it’s a well known fact in the WordPress society. We will change that to avoid confusion.
However, I still don’t understand the main problem. Exactly what do you mean by by “My website is not live under these conditions, and I will not put it live until I get the editing fixed.”?
As for the image – it is set as a Row element background. Just edit the row, move to design tab and change or remove the background image.

ParticipantMy website is currently in maintenance mode, so the site is not live for viewing. I can send screen shots if you let me know how I can get those to you.
Can you please address the following:
In the sample website, choosing “main home”, the main page has an image (the brown with roses) that goes from the top of the screen to about half way down the page.
1. On mine, there is the torn paper look at the top that spans about an inch down from the bottom. There is no menu at the top of the page and my logo is 3” centered in the middle of the page on top of the heart image and “best handmade goods” – again I can send you a screen shot of this.
2. The row with the photo of roses is not accessible in WP Bakery, or visual composer. There are options to change everything below the stock image but nothing above it.
There are clearly issues with this theme, and I need to get them resolved quickly, I cannot get my site out of maintenance mode in the condition that it is in, and I need these issues to get fixed asap please.June 9, 2020 at 6:20 pm #23502loooooool14ac
ParticipantI have not received a response to my last request. I cannot use your theme and I need the issues fixed. Please help.

KeymasterHello loooooool14ac,
Sorry for the late reply. We had some major problems in the last two weeks. Our servers were under severe DDoS attack and one of our colleagues was confirmed with COVID-19.
However, as I already explained we just don’t understand the nature of the problem. Everything is editable in the WP Bakery Page Builder and no one ever reported such a problem.
Also, you can’t provide access to the site to see the problem “live”, so we really can’t provide much help. If you give us access to your site and temporary admin credentials, we can check what could be wrong there and help you.
We don’t even know which demo you have imported, so we don’t know which rose image are you talking about.
Please, provide more information, so we can help.
As for your refund request on ThemeForest, I am afraid we are going to decline it, as it just doesn’t reflect the truth. almost 1500 site owners are using the theme without the problems you describe. There are no such things like “ver lapping images, stock photos that are not editable, menu not on home page”.
