    Hi Bemarkvig,

The problem is that you can’t import the full demo like this. You have to use the Theme Options -> Import Demo tab

Checking on your WordPress instance admin, in Appearance -> Theme Editor, select a file, and you will see a message on the bottom that the file is not editable. This again leads me to the conclusion that you don’t have the proper security permissions set up in the WordPress instance files. We hope that you understand that this is not under our control. You need to ask your hosting provider to fix this. This article may help:

How To Set Correct File Permissions For WordPress

Of ‘course you can try to insert following:
    <wp:wxr_version>1.1</wp:wxr_version>
before the tag in \wp-content\themes\lafka\store\demo\lafka0\demo.xml , but I don’t think it will work.

    Hi Bemarkvigo,

Ok, as you have SimpleXML enabled, the other reason could be permission issues of /wp-content/uploads directory. This could be confirmed by trying to import the xml file from the WordPress importer (Tools -> Import -> WordPress). I tried doing it myself but when clicked on install now it asks me for ftp credentials. This is quite strange.

Please install the WordPress importer and run the import manually (keep in mind that this will not import everything correctly, and is not the recommended way of importing the demo). The import xml is located in \wp-content\themes\lafka\store\demo\lafka0\demo.xml.

If you receive the same error, this means that the problem is not in the theme and most probably is the permissions issue. Then you will have an evidence to contact your hosting support.

    Alex

    Hi Bemarkvigo,

    Thanks for the details.

I suppose you are receiving this error when trying to import the demo, right?
In order to investigate further we need to run the import on your site. It may override the content and theme settings. Do you agree?

    Hi ReactiveLoop,

You can not add it from outside of Lafka_Product_Addon_Display class, because of how the display() method is written. It uses $this and the action must be added from Lafka_Product_Addon_Display in order to use $this as a reference. Try to use it from outside and you will see the error in the log.

What you can do is add one more method like reposition_display_for_variable_product() . Look at how this is done and adapt it for your needs.

    Hello Imre,

Looks like there is some confusion. On the screenshot I see grosso-plugin installed, and you are using the Refer theme, right? As you are writing in the Refer support forum.

If so, then you should use the refer-plugin. Otherwise the theme behavior could be unpredictable. Means that some of the functionality will not work as expected, various errors can occur and so on.

    Hello boutikids,

I’ve logged in and checked the site.

In my opinion there is something wrong with the server configuration. Please check with your hosting, explaining the same issue.
I think somehow, browsing the site as none-logged and logged user leads you to two different sites.

For sure, this is not related with the theme.

    Hello,

You can find the theme options settings file ready to be imported in lafka\store\demo\lafka2\demo.txt

I see your issue, but trying to reproduce the same behavior on our side with basic setup – only the theme, the required plugins and the checkout manager, we can’t reproduce it. And knowing that we didn’t touch the checkout area, leads us to the conclusion that this issue is not caused by the theme.

You can confirm that on your side by switching to one of the default themes and will see the issue will remain.

    Hello Espinet1993,

    Following should be enough:

    max_execution_time 60
    memory_limit 512M
    post_max_size 64M
    upload_max_filesize 64M

If you work in a local environment, check if you can open following url: https://i0.wp.com/lafka.althemist.com/sushi/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2019/05/sakura-fiji.jpg
This is one of the images to be imported. If you can’t then the importer also won’t be able to import it.

    Hi Mou,

Ok, you need to copy refer\woocommerce\content-single-product.php to the child theme and modify line 38 to:
    <?php $refer_product_cover_img_id = $product->get_image_id(); ?>

    Hello,

    – About the featured image, this can be done only with custom css.
    – About the woocommerce checkout manager. I’ve installed the same in our testing environment and it was working fine. I’ve added one additional select field and was able to create order. The problem should be somewhere else. Please enable WP debug mode and look for errors in the log.

    Hello omee006,

    – Variations in product listings: It looks you find out how to do that, from Product edit page, go to variations and on each variation you can enable “Show in Catalog”
    – Which featured image do you mean?
    – It is just because the layouts are different. In the quickview you have more space. I would suggest using shorter stirngs for the addons, i.e. EXTRA TOMATO CUBE to be only TOMATO CUBE.
